"Over the past 20 years as an officer, I have been involved in several traumatic incidents that have changed my life. I hid my emotions and didn't tell anyone how I felt out of shame and feeling weak. When I was forced to retire due to my on-duty injuries, I could no longer hide my emotions. I fell into a deep depression and withdrew from my family and friends. I became addicted to opiate pain medication and nearly ended my own life. I felt my life was spiraling downward; and, for the first time, I had no control. I didn't want to be in the position I was in, but I had no idea how I had  arrived. The only person I thought about was my 11-year old daughter and I knew it was time to get help. Sean Riley, founder of Safe Call Now, saved my life. I regained my strength to get my life back and now I am paying it forward by dedicating my life to saving the lives of other first responders."  --Marcia Williams
